Project Description:
As part of our Capacity Building initiative, Drishtee in partnership with National Skill Development Corporation ( NSDC) had set up Drishtee Skill Development Center (DSDC) .The project seeks to identify, design and impart employability training to the target youth that equips them with skill-sets to help earn sustainable livelihood, either by acquiring employment in the organized/unorganized sector or by setting-up-micro-enterprises or rural production centers. The project is in alignment with Drishtee's 4C (Community, Capacity, Credit and Channel)approach.
The primary objectives of the training are :
Create employable youth by imparting relevant vocational training to large number of youth in rural India.
Instill entrepreneurship and enterprise skills.
Facilitate income generating enterprises and livelihood for those trained including favorable condition for credit linkages and market linkages.
The centers will be based in rural schools of UP, Bihar and Assam that will offer vocational training to rural youth in sectors like Textile and Garments, Agro and Food Processing, Logistics, Warehousing & Transportation, Building and Construction, Electronics and IT Hardware.

Desired Qualification Level: Graduate or Post Graduate ; MBA (any specialization)
Most Relevant Experience: Preferable experience of 5 to 10 years in Education / Vocational training
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to implement the program in the given timeline and within budget.
Planning and budgeting.
Monitoring training activities in all divisions of Assam
Coordination with Head Office which includes sending regular reports
Working with rural schools and village communities towards implementation of project activities.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Ability to carry on mobilization activities for effective implementation.
Ability to liaison with government and private agencies.
Experience in organizing training esp. vocational training. Good training/capacity building skills.
Identify and develop partnerships with organizations interested in hiring our graduates; focus on finding opportunities at the division level.
Should be willing to travel to the rural areas frequently.
Should be willing to stay at district level.
Knowledge of local language is a must.
