Position: SNAP Outreach Program Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated, self-starting individual to work as a full time Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in gaining community outreach, program implementation and project management experience within the aging service field.
Program Description: The Older Adult SNAP Enrollment Initiative is an innovative and unique program that places friendly, knowledgeable volunteers and carefully selected, highly-trained retired professionals within low-income, high-needs communities throughout New York City to educate older adults about food assistance options, and screen and enroll those who are eligible for SNAP benefits.

CSCS is recognized as the lead NYC-based organization representing aging issues and advocating for needed community based services which allow older adults to age with dignity. With over 100 member organizations providing community based services through more than 600 programs, CSCS' members range from individual community-based centers to large multi-service, citywide organizations. CSCS' work ranges from enabling healthy aging and supporting family caregivers to promoting economic security and addressing elder hunger.
