Client Intake/Outreach Coordinator

FareStart has an immediate opening for a self-motivated and energetic Client Intake/Outreach Coordinator. This position works to connect eligible individuals facing barriers to employment and self-sufficiency with FareStart's Adult Culinary Training Program. Responsibilities include: facilitating the orientation and enrollment process for applicants of the FareStart Adult Job Training Program, providing information to prospective students at weekly open orientation sessions, conducting intake interviews, processing application paperwork, and approving applicants for enrollment. This position will develop and maintain partnerships with service providers in the community in order to meet enrollment goals and to provide access to services for FareStart applicants and enrollees.

This is a full-time position in which you will play a critical role in helping FareStart students achieve long-term self-sufficiency through employment. We offer a dynamic and respectful environment, where you will directly affect the success of our mission and our students.

You have:

  • Commitment to serving individuals who face employment barriers and helping them access services in order to achieve self-sufficiency
  • Demonstrated networking and relationship building skills
  • Proven ability to manage difficult situations to appropriate resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically develop and execute a written outreach plan
  • Able and willing to commute throughout Seattle/King County to meet with services providers and partner agencies
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal skills
  • At least 3 years of experience working in relevant field: case management, intake or counseling experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar applications preferred
