Interested in leading a semester abroad program through Asia or South America this Fall?

Youth International is an experiential education program with a focus on international travel, inter-cultural exchange, community service, adventure and home stays. Groups of up to 14 people between the ages of 18 and 25, travel together with two experienced leaders for three months to different parts of the world. This Fall, the Asia program through Thailand, India and Nepal will run from September 14 to December 13, 2013and the South America program through Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador, will run from September 14 to December 6, 2013.

Responsibilities

  • Development of portions of the trip plans
  • Train group members for participation in the program
  • Handle day to day logistics while on the road
  • Counsel teams members through developing world learning experiences
  • Develop and maintain functional team while leading individual growth during a variety of community service and adventure programs and activities

Qualifications

  • Have extensive experience, travelling, living, studying, volunteering and working in the countries that the group travels through (Thailand, India and Nepal or Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador)
  • Have experience working with and leading groups
  • Strong Spanish language skills an asset for South America program
