PHA's Medical Services Department implements numerous medical education programs for both the medical and patient communities through the guidance of the Scientific leadership Council (SLC), leaders in the field of pulmonary hypertension as well as members of PH Resource Network, a professional membership body for allied health care professionals caring for pulmonary hypertension patients. Within the medical community, these programs focus on early identification and diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension and in enhanced care of PH patients.
Overall Responsibilities:
The Program Associate will assist with the activities of the Medical Services Department of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, which is involved in a variety of exciting events, initiatives and public health educational projects. The Medical Services Department works to support the activities of three distinct bodies of medical professionals working within the field of pulmonary hypertension. These are:
The primary focus of this position is on the development of the PHA Online University as the premier educational tool for medical professionals. The Program Associate is responsible for assisting committees of medical professionals in content development, production and evaluation.

Bachelor's Degree in a health science or communications discipline preferred
