The Northeast-Midwest Institute (NEMWI) seeks an experienced, detail-oriented administrative and outreach manager to assist the NEMWI President in the following critical organizational tasks:
Outreach Manager role (85%):
· Management of the NEMWI relations with NEMW Coalitions and States
· Outreach development and management, including compilation and maintenance of categorized contact lists, outreach event planning and implementation
· Press Release, Weekly Newsletter, and annual publication preparation
· Other tasks as may be assigned
Administrative Assistant role (15%):
· Board meeting administration and scheduling
· Project event planning and facilitation
· Coordination of employee benefits, including new staff orientation and assistance with annual enrollment
· Office management, including landlord and service provider and material supplier relations
· Other tasks as may be assigned.
Qualified candidates will be exceptionally clear and effective writers with at least 5 years experience working with three or more of the below:
· High profile officials on issues relevant to the NEMW region
· Organizations with ideologically diverse members
· Non-profit organizational outreach
· Federal and State government relations
· Event management
· Grant-giving foundations
