Little Flower Children & Family Services of NY is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Case Manager (RN/LPN) two days a week, working at our Jamaica Queens Office. The Nurse Case Manager will perform professional nursing services for children placed in foster homes in the New York metropolitan area and on Long Island. Will be required to assess the physical, developmental, and emotional needs of the children and coordinates the necessary medical care. Under general supervision, is responsible for making field visits to foster homes to ensure proper health care for the children placed in them.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good knowledge of nursing principles and techniques and their relation to medical practice.
Good knowledge of medical procedures, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
Skill in the application of professional nursing techniques and practices.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse: Possession of a currently valid Nursing License issued by the State of New York.
Licensed Pratical Nurse: Possession of a currently valid Pratical Nurse License issued by the State of New York.
