Job description

We seek an e-Strategy e-mail Assistant, part-time, to produce emails for Carnegie Hall departments, including Marketing, Development, WMI, and Ensemble ACJW. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintain content based e-mails for WQXR Live Chats and Volunteer Services department; work closely with the Associate Producer of E-mail and Digital Operations to define production and implementation schedule. Obtain necessary routing approvals and ensure on-time delivery of e-mail messaging. Reproduce .psd, .jpg, .pdf, .tif, and .png files provided by Creative Services for e-mail use. Provide e-mail analytics as needed. Assist with general departmental duties if required.

Qualifications: A working knowledge of an enterprise level e-mail system is required, ideally the Mail2 platform. Experience with Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator is desired, as well as knowledge of HTML and CSS. Candidates should also have a familiarity with e-mail marketing best practices. Candidates must work well in a high-pressure environment with many deadlines and demands, from many different departments within the organization. Applicants should have excellent writing skills with experience in writing for digital purposes. Familiarity with principles of good web/e-mail design and routing processes is helpful, and familiarity with and interest in classical music and music education is also helpful though not essential.
