We are seeking a committed and energetic Executive Assistant. The successful candidate will be honest and eager to join a progressive, demanding organization. This position reports to the Superintendent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
  • Strategically manage calendar to maximize efficiency, based on initiatives and priorities
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and make travel arrangements
  • Check and respond to voicemails and emails
  • Manage filing/database system
  • Promptly and accurately submit forms to HR, Fiscal, and other departments
  • Assist in ad-hoc reports and special projects as needed often requiring independent discretion and follow up
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification, Skills and Knowledge Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years experience providing administrative support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
  • Strong ability to administer multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload
  • Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and discretion
  • Professional, polished, strong self-starter with a "can do" attitude in addition to a flexible approach
  • Excellent presentation skills together with the ability to think on your feet
  • Excellent relationship management working with multiple stakeholders at different levels of seniority
  • Strong writing and communication skills is desired
  • Strong work ethic and impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team
  • Familiar with issues prevalent in underserved communities of color
