This Communications Senior Manager is responsible for advancing the mission of Share Our Strength to end childhood hunger in America by leading the Communications department's work on the organization's fastest-growing fundraising platform (Dine Out for No Kid Hungry) and overall restaurant industry engagement with Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign. Since its inception in 2008, Dine Out has raised more than $18 million to help make sure every child in the U.S. gets the food they need, and become a shining example of cause marketing done well.
In addition, this Communications Senior Manager is responsible for leading the development of effective marketing communications to sell and support restaurant industry engagement in No Kid Hungry; managing restaurant trade and targeted business media outreach and partnerships; and serves as the Communications Department's point-person for corporate partner relationships in the restaurant/foodservice industry (restaurants and suppliers).
