NYU's prestigious Leonard N. Stern School of Business has a challenging opportunity for an Associate Director of Academic Affairs. The Associate Director will manage the successful delivery of the dual degree programs available to MBA students. S/he will oversee student advisement programs for new and continuing MBA students, with specific accountability for the successful operations of the MBA Academic Advising Office. The Associate Director will also serve as second in command to the Director for the Office of MBA Academic Affairs and oversee all actions, decisions and activities in his absence.
Candidates will have a Bachelor's degree along with 5 years' relevant experience in advising students and managing student services, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must have experience administering services including academic advisement, counseling and staff supervision. Excellent networking, organizational, verbal and written communication skills are essential. Standard office software proficient is also required, along with strong conflict and dispute resolution skills. Public speaking experience is preferred.
