QA Engineer/Scrum Master
Benetech seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer/Scrum Master to bring a QA expert opinion and analytical thinking to our Agile Scrum process regarding user stories, tasks and acceptance test.
This is a fulltime position in Palo Alto, California.
Responsibilities:
- Able to step into QA Engineer/ScrumMaster role based upon prior QA Engineer/ScrumMaster experience or demonstrated aptitude to fulfull role.
- Develop and perform manual and automatic tests of software. Author and maintain test scripts and procedures.
- Analyze test results. Isolate, investigate and report bugs. Verify fixes. Select and apply appropriate methods and tools (automation, manual exploration, white box test automation, performance/stress testing and beyond) to get quality product out the door in a timely fashion.
- Design, collect, analyze and present quality metrics and provide cross-functional recommendations.
Requirements:
- Req. Masters in Computer Science.
- Experience with automation technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, jUnit/Java, Ruby, Perl and Python.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux command line tools and scripting.
- Proficiency using SQL and experience working with complex data sets within a relational database.
- Experience with e-commerce, accessibility or mobile application development.
- Experience with Section 508 compliance and accessibility technologies, such as screen readers and WAI-ARIA.
