Major Gifts Fundraising Consultant

Description

Kedren Community Mental Health Center Inc, is seeking a consulting to help secure a large amount of funds that will be devoted to the renovation and expansion of our Children's Hospital. This renovation and expansion will significantly improve the lives of many children in the South Los Angeles area.

We are seeking someone passionate and devoted to our mission. The right candidate will have experience in Major Gift programs, specifically related to; setting a financial goal, procuring large donations, and creating innovative acknowledgments/sponsorship packages. The candidate will also manage resources, including CEO, Board Members, and Advocates in order to orchestrate an entire campaign based around funding the renovation and expansion of our Children's Hospital.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree required. Successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills (writing, editing and speaking), a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Candidate must be able to work in an autonomous environment, be self-directed and self-motivated and must have at least 3-5 years of progressively responsible development experience, preferably with an emphasis on major gifts.

Additional qualifications Include:

  • Experience planning and implementing major gifts programs that have resulted in corporate of foundation gifts of $25,000 and above
  • Ability to develop and sustain positive relationships with donors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, confidence and poise in front of others
  • Creativity and an innovative approach to problem solving
  • Strong management skills, ability to work with CEO, Board Members, and Advocates in order to lead and implement a development strategy

Compensation details

Compensation commensurate with experience.
