AFS-USA, the world's leading student exchange organization, is seeking Placement Representatives to locate qualified host families for international community college students in the Portland area.
In addition to placing the students with host families, you'll assist them with their school enrollment and adaptation to US culture, and serve as a general problem-solver during their stay. AFS staff will provide training and support to help you carry out these important responsibilities. Host families receive a stipend for hosting. AFS will provide you with a placement fee ($300) for each student you place with a host family. For your ongoing support efforts, you'll receive $100 per student at the end of each semester.
