Job Title: Operations Assistant Program: Summer Program

Average Schedule: 6 weeks; July 1st- August 9th; 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00-6:00pm

Training: 6/26-6/28

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Part-time Department: Operations

TYPICAL DAY IN THE LIFE

Operations Assistant

The Operations Assistant will perform a variety of duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the Clubhouse facilities during program hours. This role will serve as a "jack of all trades" supporting program operations that may include youth group management, lesson implementation, supply distribution, program area supervision, member supervision and visitor relations.

  • Monitor and positively interact with members at all times to ensure members are safe and engaged.
  • Record hourly ratio counts, ensure members are scanning into areas, and maintain all required evaluation information.
  • Provide engaging and informative clubhouse tours to visitors, potential members, parents and community.
  • Monitor program areas to include, but not limited to entry and exit ways, locker rooms, coat check.
  • Participate with group in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including games, arts and crafts, theatre, computer lab, swimming, and field trips.
  • Ensure proper care of all materials takes place, organize game room and report any misused or damaged materials.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

Post-secondary training or college credits; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Demonstrated organizational/ leadership ability; Associate's degree (A.A) preferred; Experience working and/or volunteering in a camp, after-school or educational setting is ideal.
