Responsibilities
Development and Fundraising
- Helps to expand APAH's outreach to all donor audiences -- individuals, corporate sponsors, foundations, the faith-based community and community organizations.
- Maintains the database of current and potential donors, grant funders, individual givers and prospects. Tracks United Way, Combined Federal Campaign and other giving.
- Helps to research and grow APAH's grant writing efforts, assists in tracking/budgets, collects outcomes/ data for writing and submitting grant proposals and reports.
APAH Annual Fundraiser Event
- Maintains accurate database of past and prospective sponsors, create/update spreadsheets tracking donor invitations, pledges, confirmations, receipt of funds.
- Helps produce printed materials including program, signage and badges for all APAH events.
- Assists in the production of electronic media including PowerPoint presentation, electronic invitations.
- Assists with logistics and vendor for events.
- Defines volunteer jobs and conducting outreach through Volunteer Arlington to recruit volunteers.
APAH Special Events
- Assists in the event planning, invitations, record-keeping, promotions and onsite logistics for other fundraising and special events.
Communications
- Maintains APAH's Facebook page, updates APAH's website and drafts the monthly e-News.
- Assists in drafting and designing print and online publications and producing materials in house or through an outside vendor.
Supports APAH CEO
- Provides executive support for CEO including scheduling, PowerPoint presentations, donor acknowledgements and correspondence for all external meetings and presentations.
- Support the Board of Directors meetings by assembling and distributing briefing packets, handling onsite logistics and drafting meeting minutes.
Other duties
- Supports office management as needed. Staff reception desk when office manager is not available.
- Other duties as assigned.
