The objective of the position is to write, develop, and edit Major Gift and Planned Giving donor communications and written materials—including but not limited to, proposals, stewardship reports and cultivation event materials—in support of the teams fundraising targets and strategic plan. Work closely with the Senior Manager, Donor Communications and Marketing on broad Individual Giving writing and communication projects.
B.A./B.S./B.B.A in Communications, Marketing, Public Affairs, Literature, or a related field, and minimum three years experience in a development, communications or marketing role; knowledge of fundraising and marketing theory and principles; proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Powerpoint and Publisher. Familiarity with Raiser's Edge (or similar fundraising database), and graphic design experience a plus.
