Master’s Level Fee for Service Behavioral Health Clinician

Description

Applicants must have a Master's or Doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, nursing, or other related disciplines and either be independently licensed or actively working towards independent licensure within 24 months upon receiving a Master's degree. One – two years minimum experience with high risk populations preferred (i.e. trauma, behavior disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, abuse or neglect within families). Engages as many family members as necessary to improve child-youth behavioral and emotional health while assisting families to identify and secure informal and formal supports. Experience with trauma a plus, but not required.

Center for Behavioral Health focuses on clinic-based (child, youth, adults, family, couples) and school-based treatment. FSGB uses a strength-based approach, assists families to navigate systemic barriers that impede improved child and family functioning. Comprehensive assessments include diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, crisis intervention, parent support, psycho-education, referrals, linking clients with community supports (formal & informal) and collaboration. Collaborates with primary care practitioners with focus on client's total health.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively balance clinical skills with administrative responsibilities and have strong organizational skills. Third party billing required. Ability to comply with all state regulations and contracted payers (managed care companies). Also, candidates applying for school-based positions must be able to navigate school systems and have a thorough understanding of school environments (work collaboratively with school personnel).
