Urban Arts Partnership seeks an experienced Grant Manager to join its Development team. Urban Arts is a leading arts education organization reaching 12,000 students in over 100 underserved public schools in New York and Los Angeles. The Grant Manager reports to The Director of Development.

Responsibilities:
·Work closely with senior leadership and key staff to implement organizational fundraising strategy.
·Conduct research to discover potential new sources of support and analyze RFPs / grant announcements.
·Research and draft proposals/grant applications for submission to corporate and private foundations.
·Complete grant applications requesting support from City, State and Federal government agencies.
·Produce proposals, reports, acknowledgments for foundations, corporations, government agencies, and individual donors.
·Manage a grant calendar to ensure the timely submission of reports and complying with all external deadlines.
·Maintain and expand current base of foundation and corporate grant support.
Qualifications:
·4+ years of grant writing and grant management experience.
·Demonstrated success procuring grants from foundations, corporations and government sources.
·Strong research, writing and editing skills.
·Ability to translate vision, strategies, and action plans into fundable proposals.
·Experience with producing large, complex government proposals.
·Flexibility and ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and have knowledge/interest in arts education.
·Database management skills and professional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
·Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to manage many distinct areas of work at once.
·Ability to participate as a team player in coordinating grant proposal data.
