Administrative Services Generalist
This position exists to support the administrative demands within the Compassion & Choices organization and is a part-time position. The ideal candidate will possess traits, skills and abilities to provide assistance to a variety of departments and personnel across multiple functions and levels. He or she should be willing and able to learn through a variety of methods and modes and be able to think critically about the efficiencies and effectiveness of processes and workflows. A high degree of confidentiality is a must!

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists Project Coordinator with office management including supplies, inventory, FedEx shipments, and other duties as required
- Assists Project Coordinator with incoming and outgoing mail
- Performs word processing and data entry as needed
- Makes phone calls to donors, volunteers, supporters, and constituents
- Contributes to team effort in accomplishing organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and elevated duties and assisting others in their duties as needed
- Demonstrates the organization's values
- Maintains appropriate interpersonal relationships with employees at all levels, peers and co-workers, and the public
- Communicates project status on a regular basis through written and/or verbal updates
- Other duties as required
Education and Experience:
- High school graduate or equivalent and 1-2 years office experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Has excellent written and oral communication, active listening and telephone skills
- Is able to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
- Shows professionalism and has a strong attention to detail
- Has a demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Is exceedingly well organized; multi-tasker; is flexible to shifting priorities
- Possesses a working knowledge of a variety of office equipment including, but not limited to, PCs, fax machines, printers, copiers, and postage meters, 10-key by touch
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office including database management
- Enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting the organization
- Has the ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge
- Is proactive, resourceful, efficient, able to work under pressure
