Science Interpretation department and get ready to inspire! Pacific Science
Center is looking for Science Interpreters to enhance our guests' experience by
engaging visitors in personal and inspiring interactions, interpreting science
concepts, ensuring smooth daily operations and providing excellent customer
service. Science Interpreters deliver educational activities to large and small
groups of Science Center guests of all ages each day we are open to the public
and for special events and facility rentals. The variety of educational and
interpretive activities includes providing interpretation in specific areas like
the butterfly house, staffing carts and other hands-on activities and doing
interpretation with the Science On a Sphere exhibit.

The job requires a reasonably flexible schedule that may include occasional weekend, evening, and
holiday shifts. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or
equivalent, must have desire to inspire children and adult visitors from diverse
backgrounds and enthusiasm for science and education.
