The ideal candidate will be committed to getting results in a fast-paced environment and will have good interpersonal skills. This position is an opportunity to combat climate change and bring about real economic benefits for those who need them the most. The Organizing Fellow will build a strong skill set that will help him or her excel in future field campaigns and non-profit sector jobs.

Program Overview

Retrofit Baltimore is a program of the non-profit Civic Works. Its mission is to transform the clean energy economy into a pathway out of poverty for underserved Baltimore residents. The program does this by using innovative community organizing tactics to grow the demand for home energy improvements. Leveraging this demand, Retrofit Baltimore then connects homeowners with businesses that have agreed to exclusively hire underserved residents and implement equitable employment standards. Civic Works' green initiatives have been highlighted by Green for All, The Baltimore Sun, The Washington Post, and the US Conference of Mayors. Join us in creating a more just and equitable clean energy economy. For more information on Retrofit Baltimore, please visit www.retrofitbaltimore.org.
