Since its founding over 25 years ago, Westmark School has been committed to providing a superior academic education and comprehensive curriculum to grades 3-12 students with dyslexia, language processing issues, and other related learning differences. Position: Upper School English teacher, full-time, beginning August 2013
Responsibilities: Westmark School is looking for an Upper School English teacher. Ideal candidates will have these qualities:
- Experience teaching English to high school students
- A strong desire to work with students with language-based learning differences
- An advanced degree and/or credentialing in English
- An ability to integrate technology into their curriculum
- An interest in building community through student advisory
Additional duties include active involvement in student advisory, activities, and outdoor education.
