Overall Goals

  • To provide the Jewish community with a valuable tool that acts as a feedback loop for continuous improvement as well as a motivation and engagement tool for mobilization around community needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Staff the Scorecard Steering Committee – advising the Committee on the selection of Scorecard metrics, and preparing drafts of analytic and interpretative material for inclusion in the Scorecard.
  • Staff the Leadership Roundtable – preparing agendas, briefing papers and meeting summaries.
  • Work with committee and consultants to develop and improve the Scorecard design, measurement and data collection methods and strategies for data management.
  • Prepare any reports required by funders.
  • Ensure that Scorecard elements are executed successfully and completed within time frames to meet objectives.Plan, schedule, and coordinate administrative matters related to Scorecard.
  • Manage the development and upkeep of the community scorecard website.
  • Work with Federation planning professionals on interpretation and dissemination of scorecard findings.
  • Responsible for analyzing quantitative and qualitative data. This includes identifying patterns, correlations and deviations from previous results.
  • Document all analytic results and prepare written technical reports.

Skills and Attributes:

  • A master's degree in public policy and management, social policy and administration, public administration, business, information systems and management, urban planning or a Bachelor's degree with highly relevant experience.
  • At least two years' work experience.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data and then present it in easily useable formats.
  • Orientation to applied/policy research.
  • A strong commitment to the Jewish community.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal/human relations skills.
  • Organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to operate personal computer and relevant software packages.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
