We have an exciting opportunity to join MSI as the Director, Evidence, Strategy and Innovation Director. The position reports into the Vice President & Director of Health Systems and is based in London.
In this role you will provide global visionary leadership in all areas related to evidence, strategy and innovation to the MSI programmes in 43 countries. You will lead MSI's five global functions within this area: 1) Corporate Strategy, 2) Management Information System, 3) Research, Monitoring & Evaluation, 4) Innovation and Best Practice, 5) Impact Analysis. In addition, and you will be responsible for deepening and broadening MSI's capacity to understand and use evidence and best practice; as well as expanding MSI's technical leadership within the Family Planning and safe abortion industry.
At the heart of Evidence, Strategy and Innovation is its drive for evidence. Each team has a specific relationship with evidence and uses it in different ways. Three of our teams- Impact Analysis, MIS and Research, Monitoring & Evaluation are entirely devoted to the gathering, analysing and the use of evidence. Innovation and Best Practice and Strategy take the evidence gathered and use it to guide MSI in how we can creatively keep learning and evolving our programmes.
The team offers a variety of different and unique services to country programmes and provides MSI with the tools and evidence to better understand our services and global impact together with how we can continue to adapt to a changing environment (strategy and innovation).
