Join FareStart's administrative team as our new Controller! We have an immediate opening for an experienced, energetic professional who can provide passionate leadership to the finance and accounting functions of the organization and the accounting team, reporting directly to our CFO.

This position will work closely with the CFO to ensure the finance and accounting functions are meeting best practices, that reporting is accurate and timely and that the organization, the senior leadership team and the Board of Directors are well-supported by the Finance Department. • Demonstrated soft skills including strategic thinking, high integrity, self-confidence and ownership of cross-functional initiatives
  • A passion for excellence through teamwork, positive change and communication

We are:

  • A successful organization that trains homeless and disadvantaged individuals for jobs in the culinary industry, empowering them to transform their lives.
  • A progressive and healthy non-profit with an annual budget over $9m with business revenue funding almost 50%. More information can be found at: www.farestart.org.
