POSITION: Program Coordinator

STATUS: Exempt, Full Time
U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), a nongovernmental, not-for-profit national organization dedicated to addressing the needs and rights of refugees and immigrants, seeks a Program Coordinator for its Raleigh, North Carolina field office. This field office operates as a refugee resettlement program and employment program for refugees, asylees and victims of trafficking, and community education programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position of Program Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of Cuban Haitian program implementation and direct service provision in a fast-paced refugee resettlement office. Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining case files, maintaining a database and supervision of a Case Aide/Program Assistant. Program Coordinator in collaboration with the community in Eastern North Carolina disseminates information and coordinates services for Cuban and Haitian individuals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements include B.A. degree and experience in a related field. The candidate must be dedicated to the human rights of refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers and displaced people. Bilingual ability and experience in federal grant administration or refugee resettlement preferred. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, and experience with Access preferred. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with team members essential as well as excellent organizational skills and experience in program management.

3801 Lake Boone Trail, Raleigh NC Suite 200
Work will be performed in Eastern NC beginning with Guilford County.
