Year Up is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Leadership Development Specialist to support and complete a variety of operational and logistical initiatives for Year Up's Human Resources department. Reporting to the Senior Director of Leadership Development, the Specialist will work closely with the HR team, other Year Up employees around the country, and outside consultants.
The ideal candidate comes with solid experience in logistics and project management, and will enthusiastically embrace this role, taking pride in outstanding execution of all tasks and projects, regardless of size or scope. A successful candidate will bring the ability to balance multiple priorities, collaborating effectively while supporting many distinct projects moving forward quickly and accurately. Comfort interfacing with senior leaders while maintaining a flexible, service-oriented attitude will be critical as well. As part of the HR team, the ability to discretely handle confidential information is required.
The Leadership Development Specialist will also interact with students as a mentor, group facilitator, and advocate, participating in building a positive educational environment.
