The Institute for Children, Poverty and Homelessness (ICPH) is an independent nonprofit policy research organization based in New York City. ICPH works to provide timely analysis and recommendations that will enhance public policies and programs affecting poor or homeless children and their families. Specifically, ICPH examines the condition of extreme poverty in the U.S., and its effect on educational attainment, employment and income, domestic and family violence, child welfare and foster care, and family homelessness and low-income housing. ICPH seeks an experienced researcher to implement a research agenda aimed at documenting the complexity of family homelessness with an emphasis on the impact of homelessness on children. ICPH has generated a body of literature that provides timely information enhancing policy discussions and public dialogue on family homelessness at the federal, state, and local levels. Specifically, the Policy Analyst will work with other ICPH staff on topics including but not limited to the issues delineated above.

Compensation:
