Current Need

We are seeking a web manager with Drupal experience to manage www.givingcomfort.org, our cloud-based donor database, and our individual fundraising platforms.

Position Description

  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with external website development agency. Solve any issues that arise with givingcomfort.org site, track and manage new enhancement requests from Giving Comfort team, and manage vendor hours.
  • Make simple website content changes on an as-needed basis working in the Drupal environment.
  • Work with our donor database vendor to develop custom reports and work on issues involving importing information via Excel or .CSV files into the database.
  • Pull donor data reports as needed by the Development Director.
  • Help to evaluate individual fundraising platforms. Project manage the development of three instances of selected individual fundraising platform for three upcoming large-scale events (e.g. crowdrise.com, fundly.com, rally.org)
  • Create customized "How To" instructions for individual fundraising platform users
  • Work with Giving Comfort team to communicate project updates and delivery dates for outstanding and new developments.
  • Manage e-store vendor relationship, including tracking and fixing known issues and managing the implementation of enhancements
  • Manage donor database email platform for automated donor acknowledgements and ongoing donor communications.
  • Manage SEO/SEM vendor, working with Giving Comfort staff, to support ongoing site optimization work for www.givingcomfort.org.

Ensure platform and reporting requirements set by team are met by developer, including, but not limited to:

  • Multiple Leader Board elements
  • Custom privacy options
  • Integration of paper pledge forms for registration and/or payroll deduction
  • Integration of recurring donations (monthly sponsorships)
  • Fundraising milestone badges

Work with development vendor to create new features on our website, including but not limited to:

  • Interactive map that shows where donor dollars are coming from
  • Implement a donation feature that allows donors to provide Facebook feedback as they donate
  • Create new ways to show video on our website that can be easily shared via social channels
  • Integrate home page with additional social media sites, such as Twitter and Google Plus
  • Create new pages and page types for events, donor recognition, product donor recognition, etc.

Minimum Requirements

5+ years experience with project management or related function.

Critical Skills

  • Drupal or Wordpress experience required.
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel.
  • Experience managing a website with 100K+ monthly visitors.


Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Convio Luminate donor database experience strongly preferred
  • Experience developing TeamRaiser sites strongly preferred
  • Experience with crowd-funding platforms (i.e.: fundly.com, rally.org, crowdrise.com, etc.) preferred


Education

4-year degree in computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.


Certifications

PMP certification or Six sigma green/black belt certification a plus.
