Title: Data Services Manager Supervisor: IT Associate Director
Overview: Founded in 1972, The Door empowers educationally and economically disadvantaged youth to reach their potential by providing a complete range of services all under one roof. Each year over 11,000 young people from all five New York City boroughs come to The Door for primary health care, reproductive care and health education, mental health counseling, legal services, supportive housing, GED, ESL, tutoring and homework help, college preparation and computer classes, career & education services, job placement, daily meals, cultural arts and services. Reporting directly to the IT Associate Director, the Data Services Manager is responsible for executing and maintaining the data needs for our organization.
Responsibilities: • Create reports and graphical charts in Crystal Reports and other tools. • Assist with Data Auditing and Analysis. • Assist in identifying data issues that cross boundaries facilitating common resolution. • Create, modify and document data elements and data collection forms as needed. • Integrate data across multiple platforms. • Be flexible on schedule of hours, including Saturdays to accommodate special projects. • Other functions and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications: • BA/BS degree required, (Computer Science or other related field preferred). • 5 years experience with data analysis and flat file manipulation. • 5 years knowledge and experience with relational database technology. • 5 years knowledge and experience of Crystal Reports and Microsoft SQL. • Programming background a plus. • Knowledge in Medical Manager Software, eClinical Works, SalesForce, SharePoint a plus. • Intermediate experience with MS Office Suite. • Have the ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team. • Proven experience with software documentation/technical writing. • Excellent problem-solving skills, including ability to anticipate problems and use judgment appropriately to plan solutions. • Strong analytical, organizational, communication and data management skills.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Low to mid 50s, plus benefits package
