The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, a non-profit fundraising and community planning organization, seeks a creative, detail-oriented, organized, energetic self-starter for an event planning position. The position is responsible for planning and implementing large-scale community-wide events, as well as smaller more targeted events for a variety of target demographics. Responsibilities include managing all logistics of event and program planning, and budgeting. Must possess the ability to engage with volunteers within a committee structure and in some cases form partnerships with community organizations, fundraising, and campaign management. Qualified candidates should have excellent communication, organizational, event planning and computer skills. Knowledge of the Jewish community is a plus. College degree required, 2-3 years of experience preferred.
