The ILR School, at Cornell University is seeking a Program Manager for the Worker Institute. This position is housed in ILR's New York City Extension/Outreach division located at 16 E. 34th Street. The Worker Institute (WI) engages in research and education on contemporary labor issues, to generate innovative thinking and solutions to problems related to work, economy and society. The Program Manager will work closely with the WI leadership team to execute and manage the Institute's administrative and programmatic strategies.
Partnering with departments, as well as individual staff and faculty, this role will lead in the development of a business plan; create and implement the communications outreach strategy, in conjunction with marketing development and coordination; develop and implement the Institute's fundraising plans; monitor financial performance of the entire Institute as well as individual programs; provide budget oversight in project management and implementation, cultivate and manage all support staff and manage operations of off-site locations including Buffalo and Rochester; help coordinate work related to the Institute's signature projects and initiative groups and evaluation of WRI activities; and develop systems for collecting and analyzing data related to the programs and activities.
