RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comunilife's Bronx Mental Health Clinic is seeking experienced Registrars for front of very busy office. Must have 2-3 years of experience in a hospital, medical office or clinic performing similar work as a Medical Registrar or Medical Receptionist. Must be able to greet clients with courtesy and professionalism, provide appointments, verify insurance coverage, follow-up with third-party payers, and provide professional telephone services, including transferring calls effectively. Bilingual English/Spanish required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of an Associates Degree with 2-3 years experience in a clinical setting as a registrar; bilingual Spanish. Bachelor's degree preferred. MS Office, basic word processing, spreadsheet and database skills, proficiency in any billing software, IMA a plus Knowledge working with SPMI, MICA, and HIV/AIDS afflicted adult population a plus.
