The Children's Center is seeking a part-time (16 hours/week) Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Physician, to work as a medical examiner. The Children's Center is emerging as a leader in human service non-profits in the region. As Clackamas County's exclusive child abuse intervention center, the Center is committed to providing support and medical evaluations for children suspected of abuse or neglect. Medical Examiners provide medical assessments and participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to the evaluation of suspected child abuse. Medical Examiners are involved in the triage of patients, as well as providing consult with other professionals. May participate in community outreach and education. At least three years clinical experience examining and treating pediatric patients required, and must possess appropriate professional degree and be licensed in the State of Oregon.
