Position Summary:
NRDC is seeking a Development/Board & Strategic Relations in our NY Office. This position provides administrative support to individuals in both our Development Department and President's Office, including six individuals: the Deputy Director of Development, the Director of Individual Giving and two Regional Portfolio Managers in the Development Department; and the Director of Board & Strategic Relations and the Board & Strategic Relations Associate in the President's Office.
This position will assist with the cultivation, stewardship, and management of NRDC's Trustees, Major Gifts donors and prospects as well as other external relationships, and will also provide extensive administrative support in planning for NRDC Board meetings. Job duties include preparing letters, general correspondence and donor briefings; overseeing assignments to portfolios; creating and maintaining donor and income tracking spreadsheets; researching donor and trustee prospects and current donors; maintaining major gifts databases and recording donor interactions; list management for Board contacts, gathering materials for meetings, scheduling and recording meetings; and processing expenses and invoices.
