Enroll America is a national non-profit organization seeking a multi-talented Director of Online Content & Engagement to help increase awareness of health coverage options made available by the Affordable Care Act (ACA), to recruit volunteers for our field operation, and to maximize the number of uninsured Americans that enroll in health coverage. The Director of Online Content & Engagement reports to the Digital Director and will work alongside a team of digital specialists, field staff, and data analysts. This person will work with the Digital Director to develop a national and target state content and engagement strategy deployed across all digital mediums.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Develop and manage strategy and day-to-day implementation of email, social media, and website
- Work with field and other teams to engage, grow, and activate supporters
- Work with policy and other teams to engage the uninsured, answer their questions, and prepare them for navigating the new health insurance marketplaces
- Oversee content development of a new site supporting Enroll America's outreach efforts
- Produce regular reports on the performance of website, email program, and social media
- Use analytics/data to constantly improve performance across online communications
- Ability to build relationships and trust across departments and organizations
- Creative thinking and ability to solve problems is a must
- A good sense of humor and a strong commitment to making the world a better place are musts
- Campaign experience and/or experience working with a field program a plus, but not required
- Experience and awareness of health coverage issues a plus, but not required
- Management experience also a plus, but not required
