Associate Project Manager - Housing

Description

Provide specialized expertise to local, state and federal government offices and nonprofit agencies that receive related public funding. Key focus is to improve the operation, management and stabilization of supportive housing and homelessness services.

This position contributes to the overall team effort to ensure providers employ sound public health and effective housing strategies toward program management and housing stability goals.

Provide project-specific assistance such as needs assessment, evaluation, training, policy development, planning and program implementation
Conduct research related to project deliverables
Work with the team to develop training curricula and in the planning for and development of new business opportunities

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's Degree required - Master's preferred. Educational background in public health, public policy, planning, social work, nonprofit management or a related field.
•Knowledge of federal housing programs and regulations preferred
•Familiarity with delivery and management of direct services for homeless and at-risk populations including people living with HIV
•Strong research and writing skills
•Proven ability to work well independently, think critically, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
•Demonstrated interest in working collaboratively with diverse populations
•Excellent computer skills in basic programs such as MS Office, including Excel
