College of Nursing NEW YORK UNIVERSITY Grant-Funded Position
The Project Coordinator is a results-oriented and customer-focused professional responsible for coordinating administrative, educational and financial operations for the Teaching Oral Systemic Health Oral Health (TOSH) program. The Project Coordinator will oversee daily Project operations aimed at the development of faculty oral health competencies, the integration of oral health into graduate nursing curricula, and the dissemination of best practices in primary care settings. The Project Coordinator will also coordinate key Project activities including train-the-trainer faculty/professional development workshops, curriculum integration, and simulation experiences, and will be responsible for designing and managing the TOSH website and other web-based products. The Project Coordinator will evaluate measures of project outcomes, including performance metrics and educational programs, prepares grant reports, and propose recommendations for quality improvement and implements strategies for improvement.
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor's degree in business or a health-related field (Master's degree in business or a health-related field preferred) and a minimum of one year professional experience in project and budget management. The successful candidate must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, along with effective and professional written, oral, and professional skills. Experience with research or statistical course work or experience as a research assistant, as well as experience with an online research management tool and web design, is preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
