We are looking for experienced teachers and administrators to manage and supervise after-school programs on-site in two prestigious Lower Manhattan public schools.
The After-School Site Director is responsible for supervising and managing all elements of the after-school program on site. Duties range from direct supervision of children, teachers and staff, to creating curriculum and maintaining student records.
Qualifications:
- University degree.
- At least 3 years of after-school, education and/or childcare experience.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and correct conduct and performance of adults and children.
- Able to manage and give priority to multiple tasks. Exhibit creativity and initiative working in a fast-paced environment.
- Superior oral and written skills.
- Strong computer and administrative skills.
- Mature judgment, tact and diplomacy.
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
