ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, EXECUTIVE PROGRAMS
NYU's prestigious Leonard N. Stern School of Business has a challenging opportunity for a part-time Assistant Director of Executive Programs. The selected candidate will serve as the "EMBA registrar," who works closely with EMBA students and the Stern registrar in an iterative process to help students choose and be registered for elective courses. In addition, the part-time position will research and advise on strategies to raise the bar on all aspects of program delivery and manage the feedback process through which needs are identified.
Please note: This is a part-time opportunity working 21 hours/week.
Candidates will have a Bachelor's degree along with 2 years' relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This must include professional experience in a service business that requires managing multiple tasks/projects and satisfying multiple high level constituencies. The ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels and to produce clear, written explanations of complex processes is required. Excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment is also required. Experience in an academic environment with executive students is preferred.
