Sales Associate

Posted by: Institute for Community Inclusion

Description

The Institute for Community Inclusion is seeking a half-time (20 hours per week) sales associate for a six-month assignment. The sales associate will sell our online training programs--such as our disability-awareness training, Inclusive Health Care--to hospitals and other employers.

Inclusive Health Care is an online training aimed at health care professionals. The 30-minute video covers essential topics such as effective communication and disability accommodations.

This position will initially focus on selling site licenses for Inclusive Health Care, and may develop into additional lines of product for other audiences. The sales associate will be responsible for generating sales and working directly with prospective clients.

The job is part-time and non-benefited. We are looking to hire for an initial six-month period, with the possibility of extending for an additional three to six months based on sales performance and product revenues.

The person in this role will be responsible for securing new revenue, as well as servicing and growing existing accounts. S/he will establish and maintain effective relationships with business decision-makers, and will work as a member of a team of content developers and marketing staff.

Qualifications

At least three years of experience in sales, with proven track record.

Work will at times require a flexible schedule to accommodate sales meetings and pitches.

Travel within state and occasionally out-of-state is required.

Working knowledge of SalesForce or similar leads-tracking software is a plus.

Preference will be given to candidates who have knowledge of issues affecting people with disabilities, and those who have established relationships in the health care community.
