Fundraiser / Team Captain

donorworx Inc is North America's premier face-to-face fundraising organization specializing in ethical, quality donor acquisition within the comforts of a mall environment. Working with our client, World Vision,donorworx Inc. will be acquiring donors for child sponsorship at a mall kiosk. By being part of this partnership, you can inspire others to create a world free of suffering through the power of giving.
The Journey
You will start creating change by having meaningful one-on-one conversations with the local community atMedicine Hat Mall, AB (August 12 – August 25). This campaign will be led by a donorworx Inc. trained Campaign Leader dedicated to the success of the cause. By joining the donorworx community you are becoming part of the solution.
Who Are We Looking For?
donorworx Inc is looking for amazing people to join us as Fundraisers and Team Captains. A Team Captain will be chosen shortly into the campaign based on their fundraising ability, booth etiquette and leadership ability. Team Captains have leadership responsibilities (scheduling, mentoring, etc.) on top of their ethical fundraising duties.
Top Candidates Possess:
- A fire within, self-motivating personality
- Ability to connect well with others
- Quick-witted and able to think on one's feet
- Can-do attitude and a positive outlook on life
- An interest in humanitarian issues
- Previous fundraising experience is considered an asset
Benefits
Compensation: Fundraiser $17/hour, Team Captain $20/hour, no commission
Hours: 15-30 hours/week, shifts are based on mall hours and we are open Monday - Sunday
Training: In-depth training prior to the campaign
Contract Period: August 12 – August 25; with the possibility for placement on future campaigns across Canada.
