*JOB DESCRIPTION:
Not-for-Profit organization seeking an Hourly Respite Specialist to work one-on-one with developmentally disabled and medically fragile populations. Respite Specialists provide relief to the primary caregivers of the consumer, engaging the consumer in any activity which ensures they receive appropriate care and stimulation in the absence of their caregivers (including but not limited to assistance with activities of daily living and integration into the community).
*JOB REQUIREMENTS:
MUST have some experience working with DD Adults/Children.
MUST be over 18 years old
MUST have a high school diploma/GED
MUST be able to submit to and pass a Criminal Background Check administered by OPWDD.
MUST be able to submit to and pass a Child Abuse Statewide Registry Database Check.
