Job description

ToolBank USA is seeking an energetic and professional candidate to join our team as Director of Disaster Services to support the growth of the national ToolBank network into disaster response and recovery services. This position will lead the design, execution, deployment, and evaluation of ToolBank USA's Disaster Services program.

They must also have a home office or access to equivalent workspace while not deployed. Financial consideration is made by ToolBank USA to ensure the Director of Disaster Services maintains adequate workspace. When not deployed, the Director of Disaster Services will be expected to maintain professional proficiency and relevant relationships on behalf of ToolBank USA and to shape the direction of the Disaster Services program. Respite periods will be scheduled in between deployment periods.

ToolBank USA team members maintain a sense of urgency and embrace change. They are tech-savvy, accountable, and quick to revise strategies based on a changing landscape. Ideal candidates will bring personal initiative, strategic thinking and a natural ability to develop relationships through clear communication and personal warmth.

The ToolBank USA Board of Directors is enthusiastic, financially supportive, and fully aligned behind the strategies of the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess:
