Position Description: Young Invincibles is looking for a Special Projects Fellow to join our team in July. The position will be based in Washington DC. This position is full-time, temporary (July – December), and pays a monthly stipend based on experience, as well as any travel costs.
Supervisor: Advisor for Strategic Partnerships
Principal Responsibilities: The Special Projects Fellow will work with the Advisor for Strategic Partnerships on projects designed to mobilize young adults around our work on health care, education, and jobs. The will primarily be focused on assisting a video contest designed to raise awareness amongst young adults as to the benefits of obtaining health insurance and proper health care.
The ideal candidate has comfort with the policy issues Young Invincibles works on (health care, higher education policy, jobs, unemployment, and entrepreneurship), is able to communicate effectively and professionally, both with team members as well as with outside partners, and feels comfortable utilizing technology in the pursuit of our objectives.
Duties include:
- Researching new partnerships and new technologies that can help further YI goals.
- Conducting outreach for partnerships and building relationships with those partners.
- Creating written materials for public and internal consumption.
- Updating and maintaining web pages related to the video contest

- Experience and interest in online and social media,
