The Sierra Club is hiring a Conservation Organizer to help centralize and coordinate the San Gabriel Mountains Forever campaign. This thriving, diverse partnership between the Sierra Club and several local allies works to preserve Southern California's most scenic and valuable natural resource: the San Gabriel Mountains. Fortunately, the level of engagement and productivity demands a higher level of coordination between all parties involved. We're looking for someone who will work across organizational lines to streamline efforts, ensure maximum productivity, facilitate fundraising, and take a lead role with online media.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in the environmental field that includes organizing campaigns, coalition work, and volunteer management. Experience with online media strategy is also important to us.
