ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, MAJOR GIFTS
NYU's prestigious Leonard N. Stern School of Business has a challenging opportunity for an Associate Director of Major Gifts. The selected candidate will cultivate and solicit major gifts ($100,000+) from alumni and friends of school to support priority programs and initiatives, including NYU's Momentum Scholarship Campaign. S/he will liaise with the Deans and administrative leaders to strategically align school and program needs with interests and resources of donors. S/he will also identify and prioritize a portfolio of prospects and develop appropriate strategies to secure gifts; and collaborate with alumni and annual giving teams to develop programs that engage and motivate major gift donors.
The selected candidate will possess a proven ability to cultivate and solicit donors. An ability to take initiative, think strategically, and collaborate with others is also essential. Excellent written, public speaking, interpersonal and organizational skills are required. The candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant fund raising, events planning, donor stewardship, and staff supervision experience.
