Member Strategy Associate Specialist

Function Overview:

The Member Strategy Associate Specialist will provide day-to-day support for the Member Strategy department activities, including marketing coordination, meeting planning, and project management. The Associate Specialist will also provide administrative support to member councils, committees, and sections.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Organize conference calls/meetings, and prepare meeting materials, minutes, action items follow-up and fulfillment reports.
  • Monitor and ensure appropriate deliverables are fulfilled for awards, affinity programs, and other departmental functions.
  • Assist with agendas and agenda books for various committees and councils.
  • Assist with managing marketing materials, such as membership applications, certificates, and plaques.
  • Prepare relevant reports for internal and external parties, specifically for benchmarking financial performance, member engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Assist with administration of travel awards. Collect, maintain and track reimbursement forms, travel forms, and other paperwork as assigned.
  • Other duties as necessary in support of member strategy activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Administrative experience, including prioritizing, writing, meeting planning, budget and expense tracking, etc.
  • Proficiency in MS applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet Explorer
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar, spelling, and proofreading.
  • Ability to follow through on assignments/duties in a timely and complete manner.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, flexible, and prioritize/handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all assignments. Ability to efficiently coordinate and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to accept varied assignments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Membership database administration experience
  • Experience in healthcare industry or nonprofit association.
