Reporting to the Director and Associate Director at the Office of Admissions, the Systems Data Coordinator is responsible for the following: - Maintaining operation of online systems for admissions and generating reports. (30%) - Monitors the flow of data from the online application to and from the Student Information System (SIS), ensuring data integrity across all systems. (15%) - Coordinate annual updates for the SLATE(online application system (5%) - Trains other staff to use SLATE and SIS (5%) - Attends on-campus administrative meetings (3%) - Supervises and trains college work-study students in student services and data entry (2%) - Uses Mainframe and Infomaker to run programs and create reports (10%) - Conducts programmatic research and benchmarks projects as needed (10%) - Provides support on data collection, reports metrics of program evaluations (5%) - Implements upgrades and changes: makes recommendations for system improvements and responds to applicant questions regarding technical aspects of the online application process. (10%) - Other Duties as assigned (5%)
The successful candidate will have proven hands-on technical proficiency and will be capable of resolving problems in all phases of systems management while working under minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have considerable knowledge of both server and workstation computer systems, including knowledge of hardware and operating systems, software applications; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, staff members and vendors; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.
